Chris resides in Spring, Texas and is a graduate of Klein Oak High School. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Chris was recruited by UNC to play soccer for the National Champion Tar Heels.
After graduation, Chris moved to Dallas, where she spent three years in the shipping industry and began coaching club soccer as a sideline. Her love for the sport brought her back to Houston, where she became a full time coach with Challenge Soccer Club. This led to her being recruited by the University of Houston to start their Division 1 women’s soccer program. After enjoying immediate success with the inaugural program at U of H, she was recruited to start the women’s soccer program at Rice University. Following a ten-year tenure at Rice, where Chris and the team were honored with numerous accolades, she changed careers. Chris went back to school to earn her licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor certification and worked at Memorial Hermann Hospital’s Prevention and Recovery Center. She was able to use her training and strong interpersonal skills to motivate adolescents and adults to help them overcome their chemical dependency.
It was Chris’ passion for helping others that prompted her father and her brother-in-law to ask her to join Outlook Financial Group. Her skills in coaching and counseling are perfectly suited for helping the individuals that come to Outlook Financial discover, plan and implement their goals.
